Pro wrestling is a dangerous profession. That is why wrestlers go through years of training before stepping in the ring. They make sure that they execute every move with utmost precision and safety. But even after taking all the precautions, a performer may suffer from an injury.
Sometimes these injuries occur right in the middle of the match. Generally, the match is stopped immediately if a performer has been injured, but sometimes the wrestlers continue to perform even after suffering an injury. A famous example of this would be when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin completed his match with Owen Hart after suffering a neck injury.
10 Finn Balor At SummerSlam 2016
At SummerSlam 2016, Finn Balor competed against Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match to crown the inaugural WWE Universal Champion. Rollins power-bombed Balor into a barricade during the match.
Balor landed awkwardly and dislocated his shoulder, but he was able to put it back into place himself in a split second. The match continued for 15 more minutes. Balor won the match, but unfortunately, he had to relinquish the title the next night because of his injury.
9 Triple H Tears His Quadriceps
This injury happened on the May 21, 2001, edition of Monday Night Raw. Triple H teamed up with Steve Austin to take on the team of Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit.
During the match, Jericho managed to trap Austin in the Walls of Jericho. Triple H came in to break the submission, and as he planted his leg, he tore the quadriceps muscle in his leg. Even after that, Triple H continued the match, and even allowed Jericho to put him in the Walls of Jericho again.
8 Triple H Once Again Finishes A Match With An Injury
Triple H suffered another injury during the Crown Jewel 2018 event. Triple H teamed up with Shawn Michaels to take on The Brothers of Destruction.
The Game suffered from a torn pectoral muscle early in the match after Kane pushed him into the corner barricade. Despite the injury, he continued the match and ended it by delivering a pedigree to Kane. Triple H had to go through surgery after that, and he returned to the ring months after a lengthy rehabilitation.
7 Goldberg Suffers A Concussion
Goldberg faced The Undertaker in a dream match at WWE Super ShowDown in 2019. Unfortunately, the dream match turned out to be a disaster as it was filled with botches.

he start of the match was decent, but things quickly turned south after Goldberg suffered a concussion by hitting the turnbuckle. Goldberg started bleeding and looked visibly confused after that. But, he continued to fight and made a lot of serious botches. In the end, The Undertaker won the match by delivering a chokeslam to Goldberg.
6 Brock Lesnar Almost Breaks His Neck
Brock Lesnar fought Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 19. What was supposed to be one of the most incredible nights of Lesnar's career could have been his last as well.
During the match's final moments, Lesnar went up on the top rope to deliver a shooting star press. Unfortunately, he failed to complete the full backflip rotation and crashed headfirst onto the canvas. Lesnar suffered a concussion but continued with the match. He surprisingly recovered quickly and delivered an F5 to win the WWE Championship.
5 Matt Hardy At All Out 2020
Matt Hardy faced Sammy Guevara in a Broken Rules match at AEW All Out 2020. Early on in the match, Hardy was injured after he took a nasty fall and his head landed on the concrete floor.
After that, it looked like Hardy couldn't finish the match. The referee even threw up the "X" sign, but Hardy continued to fight and won the match after a few minutes.
4 Mankind Suffers Multiple Injuries Against The Undertaker
At King Of The Ring 1998, Mankind faced The Undertaker in one of the most brutal matches in WWE history. During the initial moments of the match, The Undertaker threw Mankind off the top of the cell, and he crashed through the announcer's table.
Surprisingly, Foley got up after that death-defying stunt and went back to the top. The Undertaker then chokeslammed Foley, the cell broke, and he landed straight on the canvas. Foley suffered multiple injuries throughout the match, but he didn't stop, as went on to complete the match.
3 Kurt Angle & Shane McMahon Get Injured
Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon's match at King of The Ring 2001 was so brutal that Vince McMahon planned to stop the match multiple times. The match had numerous dangerous spots that caused injuries to both competitors.
At one point, Angle threw Shane through a glass panel, resulting in him getting multiple cuts. Shane got more than 50 stitches after the match. Angle busted his tailbone and also suffered a concussion during the match.
2 The Rock Injures Himself Against John Cena
The Rock defended his WWE Championship against John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 29. The Brahma Bull suffered several injuries during the match. He tore his abdomen and adductor muscles and even suffered from a hernia in the match. But he carried on until Cena pinned him to win the WWE Championship.
1 Sting Suffers A Neck Injury
Sting faced Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship in the main event at Night of Champions 2015. Sting suffered a severe neck injury during the match after Rollins hit him with his trademark buckle bomb. Sting's legs got wobbly, and he collapsed on the mat. But he composed himself and wrestled for another 10 minutes before the match ended.
