Larry Reynolds Obituary, Death – When I found out that my former mentor, Larry Reynolds, had passed away today, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of devastation. I counted Larry as one of the most treasured people in my life; he was more than simply a boss. I am thankful that he provided me with the opportunity to work alongside him, particularly during the unforgettable voyage that was just one game away from finishing in first place in the national championship.

As well as being a coach, Larry Reynolds was also a source of humour and inspiration for his players. I have wonderful memories of some of his iconic remarks, such as “Let Bobby do his thing—just give him the ball and step aside.” “Come on, Vince Carter, swing the ball,” he said. One of his most memorable moments, on the other hand, was when he said in a hilarious manner, “I am black!” These lines encapsulated his one-of-a-kind coaching approach and brought a delightful sense of humour to the experiences that we had in common.

I shall miss Larry very much since his loss has left a hole in my life that will be keenly felt by me. As we say our goodbyes to this great coach, I can’t help but think back on the life lessons he taught us and the laughter he brought into our lives. Until we meet again, Coach Larry Reynolds, I hope you are able to find some peace and rest.
