An Indiana limestone quarry featured in the movie 'Breaking Away' has been filled in after three people died trying to recreate scenes from the 1979 hit.

Sanders Quarry, south of Bloomington, has had issues with people trespassing in order to imitate the iconic moment the snooty college kids dive off the quarry's 65-foot-high ledges into the water, in Peter Yates' coming of age movie.

While the movie made it look easy, the move is incredibly dangerous and authorities say that three people have died attempting it in recent years.

The iconic spot, which is also known as Rooftop, has also been plagued by a host of other safety concerns such as cars being vandalized and nearby break-ins, The Herald-Times reported.

Indiana Limestone made alterations to the area in 2016 to hinder access and discourage visitors, such as bulldozing trees and debris to the edge of the quarry and strategically placing boulders. The company declined to comment about the newly filled-in quarry.
