Harrison Bader is an American professional baseball player. He is the center fielder for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. Previously he played for the St. Louis Cardinals in MLB. The Cardinals selected Harrison in the third round of the 2015 MLB draft.

Harrison started his baseball career in his high school days. He was a player on the school’s baseball team and also played for the New York Grays simultaneously. In October 2011, at the University of Pittsburgh, Harrison played for the Pittsburgh Panthers baseball team to compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). However, in May 2012, he quit Pittsburgh and could not sign the National Letter of Intent. After the Panthers, Harrison joined the University of Maryland and played for the Terrapins.

Further, Maryland did not offer any scholarship options to Harrison, so he walked out in July, signed up with the University of Florida to accept a partial scholarship, and played for the Gators. As a freshman, he helped the Gators with a .312 batting average, and as a sophomore, with a .337. Later in 2014, Harrison was suspended for 19 games after a drunk driving accident in his sophomore year. 

In 2015, Harrison played 67 games and batted .297, and as a junior, recording 17 home runs and 66 RBIs. After his performance, scored batted .348 in only five games, Harrison was appointed to the All-Tournament Team in the 2015 College World Series.
