Askar Mozharov is a light heavyweight fighter from Ukraine who currently competes in the UFC. Mozharov resembles the UFC’s pay-per-view king, Conor McGregor, in appearance. Because of his chest tattoo and grooming style, Mozharov is frequently compared to the former double division champion.
His haircut is also strikingly similar to that of the Irishman, with the exception that, unlike Conor McGregor, he has black hair.
In a recent interview that Askar Mozharov had with The Irish Mirror, the Swedish UFC fighter has denied copying the idea of Conor McGregor’s chest tattoo. He said, “no this is not Conor McGregor’s [tattoo]. Guys, this is the same style, old school but another picture. Actually, in my country, people know me as the Ukrainian Conor McGregor but this is different. I like Conor, but I am Askar.”

Askar didn’t provide any details of the meaning of his gorilla tattoo, he just said it is the same style, but not the Irishman’s.
McGregor’s chest tattoo shows a silverback gorilla eating a heart. The ink is a depiction of his gym’s logo and is somewhat a tribute to his roots. The Straight Blast Gym’s logo is that of a gorilla as well, just like the one he rocks on his chest.
